Hand Bumps and Masses

Face

A hand tumor is any lump or mass in the hand or fingers. The majority of hand tumors are benign, but on rare occasions a hand tumor can turn out to be malignant (cancerous).

There are several types of hand cysts and tumors, including:

  • Lipoma
  • Neuroma
  • Fibroma
  • Giant cell tumor
  • Ganglion cyst

While not usually an indicator of serious medical issues, cysts and tumors in the hand can be painful and debilitating. Dr. Jason D. Johnson of PHX Plastic Surgery is experienced in the most advanced treatment procedures.
